Why It Matters The growing impacts of climate change—rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and loss of biodiversity—threaten the health, livelihoods, and security of communities locally and globally. By addressing these challenges through sustainable practices and proactive climate action, we ‘put Ghana’s development on an accelerated path for achieving” a resilient and low carbon society by promoting economic growth, climate protection and air quality benefits, youth and women empowerment and social inclusion in the next decade and beyond’. Ghana’s Updated Nationally Determined Contribution Under the Paris Agreement (2020-2030).
Our Approach
- Promoting Renewable Energy We advocate for and support the transition to clean, renewable energy sources to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat global warming.
- Promoting Smart-Agricultural Practices We advocate for the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices as part of the country’s agenda to create jobs and promote sustainable land management practices.
- Driving Sustainable Practices From promoting eco-friendly technologies to reducing waste and conserving resources, we work with individuals, businesses, and governments to embed sustainability into everyday actions.
- Community Empowerment By educating and empowering communities, we equip them with the tools and knowledge needed to adopt sustainable practices and adapt to the challenges of climate change.
- Policy Advocacy We engage with policymakers to drive meaningful climate legislation and global commitments aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
